Confessions on being a writer
I started my professional life as something other than a writer. I in fact, an engineer with more than enough years to qualify for a pension, and I certainly can legitimately claim to have been good, with increased base stations humble leadership positions, particularly in quality control and research and development.
I was well aware, however, an appreciation for the innate power of the spoken and written communication, a trait that has raised my notes effortlessly through the non-technical subjects in both high school and college. A point was made that the general perception the other on me was one of the "bright boys in the classroom", which probably also influenced a good deal more in my notes the technical program ..
It is the power of words displayed for my benefit and my name, but I'm pretty ignorant that time.
To be honest, I did not write a particular literary piece on my own, except for required subjects, essays, experimental reports, essays, assignments, theses, dissertations, and occasional poems, stamped with meter and rhyme, on the rare occasions when I am particularly inspired.
So I went through my professional life generally appreciated for my academic record and potential for growth. I had to make a good account of myself in the performance of duties and responsibilities of all work was awarded to me, that forms of promotion or other accolades (such as bonuses) were never far behind. He was particularly successful when the recognition of my abilities played by turning the key factors in my favor, the dissenting opinions or arguments, even his superiors and seniors ranking.
I must admit to being a wide reader, and I prefer self-improvement policy, practical know-how esoteric, non-fiction to fiction. As calls on the matter for me, I would Never ask or start another until I am through with it, be it a book or magazine. My personal favorite include regular issues Discover, National Geographic and, of course, Readers Digest, I "swallowed up" cover to cover 2 to 3 hours.
The interaction of words and power phrases are most intriguing to me. I like to observe how people are influenced by their perception and understanding of how a concept is presented, and how an idea is communicated. I am always fascinated by the variety, flow, rhythm and cadence of the language. Where others swear that the correlation between music and mathematics, I shall take an oath to the interdependence between words and life.
Today I have come to devote more time to craft to whom I owe a lot to and I am most grateful. The sense of obligation on me to really show that I deserve the trust placed in me. I learned how to prove my worth in this art of expression, or I about anything, really.
I'm going to be a writer; attention to me!
